OREGON CITY, Ore. - First year Red Hawk, Junior William Schwertscharf displayed a dominant performance at the Clackamas Open this past weekend as he notched a perfect 4-0 record as he went on to earn a first place finish. 

Scwertscharf is on a tear as he extended his undefeated win streak to nine matches. 

Simpson had a strong showing as four other Red Hawks placed in the tournament. 

This included a fourth place finish by Payton MacDonald and Tomas Jacobo, a fifth place finish by Colton Silva, and a sixth place finish by Arthur Parra. 

Other notable wrestlers included Devonya Kee (2-2) and Carlos Martinez (2-2). 

The Red Hawks men's wrestling team looks to be back in action January 5th at the Mat Cat Open hosted by Linfield University.
