FRESNO, Calif. - The men's and women's cross country teams participated in the Cal Pac Championships at Woodward Park in Fresno, CA.
Cade Salsedo highlighted the men's squad as he earned Second Team All-Conference honors with a 27:56 time as he finished 11th in the 8K run.
Colten Silva followed close behind with a 29:59 to finish 17th and Alexander Resuze came in with a 30:17 to come in 22nd place.
The men's team finished in fourth place with 87 points as they just missed Cal Maritime by four points.
On the women's side,
Joy Taylor highlighted the women's squad as she earned Second Team All-Conference honors with a 27:27 time to place 9th.
Jewelia Zaragoza followed close behind with a 15th-place finish with a time of 29:11.
The women's squad placed third with 81 points only behind Soka and UC Merced.
Jewelia Zaragoza took home the Cal Pac Champions of Character award on the women's side while
Mark Rachel represented the men's side.
Joy Taylor also earned a spot on the All-Academic team for her efforts in the classroom.
