RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The women's soccer team continued its dominant play as they blanked Cal Pac rival La Sierra, 2-0.
The Red Hawks and Golden Eagles exchanged shots but neither was able to find the back of the net through the first half of play.
The Red Hawks broke through in the 60th minute when sophomore
Iris Van Dalfsen scored her first goal of the year with the help of
Rachel Steele.
Dalfen struck again late in the second half to complete the brace on an assist by senior
Taylor Barker.
Goalkeeper
Kiah Gridley completed the clean sheet as she recorded three saves. Gridley remained spotless on the road trip as she recorded a total of six saves in SoCal.
The Red Hawks are a perfect 2-0 in conference play and have yet to surrender a goal.
They will be back at home this Friday to take on Cal Maritime at 12 PM.
