Simpson Adds Momentum Towards the End of the Regular Season with Win vs. PBC

REDDING, Calif. - The Red Hawks continue momentum into their final games of the season as they beat Portland Bible College, 71-42.

In their last non-conference game, Simpson's typical starters only played in a few minutes, showcasing the team's bench for much of the game.

Simpson put up the majority of their points in a big half with 41 and holding PBC to 17 points in the first half. The Red Hawks' offense was cruising in the night as Pablo Correa led the team with 15 points. He started the game hot after hitting his first three-pointer. Correa sank two more threes and he finished the night going 6-for-15 from the floor.

Shamar Moore made 13 points going 5-for-9 from the field. Shamar showed off the springs in his feet, leaving the floor with two successful dunks.

Spiros Petrimeas and Jaiden Piercey both went 3-for-7 on the floor. Jonny Cruz was 3-for-8 with one three-pointer and went 2-for-2 from the free point line.

With only five games left in the regular season, Simpson has a 12-11 overall record and an 8-7 conference record. Simpson is sixth in the Cal Pac standings as each Cal Pac game becomes more important towards the end of the season.
