REDDING, Calif. - The Red Hawks slip to third place in the Cal Pac after losing to Antelope Valley, 81-69.

Simpson and Antelope Valley have had plenty of success in the conference this year, each with only one loss going into the game.

Celina Tress was the Red Hawks' leading scorer with 26 points. She executed the majority of her points from the free throw line going 14-15. Livi Lindsey dropped 12 points and Sandra Berrocal made 11 points on the day.

Simpson had its best chance to come back in the game down by 6 points with 1:20 left. However, Antelope Valley's Ryan Terry had a big steal and drove down court for a layup, ultimately putting the game out of reach for the Red Hawks. 

SU will play the final game of their home stretch on Saturday, Jan. 14 at 5:30 pm against UC Merced.
