ANGWIN, Calif. -Â Simpson University women's volleyball fell on the road this past week to two top opponents on the West Coast in the NAIA, Menlo College, and Lewis-Clark State.
Despite getting swept in both matches, each set was a battle especially in the second match against Lewis-Clark State as the Red Hawks scored 19 or above in all three sets.
The matches hosted by Pacific Union College were a good test for the Red Hawks as both Menlo and Lewis-Clark will be contenders for a conference championship in their respective conferences this season.
The Red Hawks will look to bounce back from the early season losses at their home opener when they face Oregon Tech for a doubleheader beginning Tuesday, August 23rd at 2 PM in the Grant Center.
