LANCASTER, Calif. - Simpson University men's basketball fell in the Cal Pac Championship Semifinals to Benedictine-Mesa in overtime, 67-65.
Gary Mims led Simpson in the scoring column with 21 points and nine rebounds.
JT Branch recorded a double-double with 10 points and 13 boards for the Red Hawks.
Anthony Rice added 13 points, three assists, and three rebounds.
BenU's comeback was capped off with a game-tying three with .5 seconds left in regulation and then brought that momentum in to OT to pickup the win. BenU will play USK in the Cal Pac Championship game tomorrow night in Lancaster, CA.
