PORTLAND, Ore. - Simpson men's basketball completed its road trip with a dominating victory over Portland Bible on the way to a third straight win.
Despite a venue change, and a game postponement, the Red Hawks came out of the trip up north with three key victories.
"Tonight was a great way to wrap up a 3-game road trip and was especially exciting to see the non-starters get a lot of quality minutes, which hopefully will lead to deeper rotations in the future," Head Coach
Todd Franklin says.
Shamar Moore led the Red Hawks in scoring with 18 points followed by Aaron Burt with 17.
Nine different players got in the scoring column for Simpson including
Akin Branco and
Kevin Robello each with 10 and
Jonny Cruz with 15.
The Red Hawks improve to 3-1 and will have a big non-conference test coming up when they head to Southern Oregon next week on November 15th with tip-off set for 7 PM in Ashland, Ore.
