Box Score RIVERSIDE, Calif. - The Simpson Men's Soccer Team traveled to Riverside to take on La Sierra in the first round of the Cal Pac Tournament, but fell, 2-1. 

Earlier in the season, the Red Hawks took down the Golden Eagles, 1-0, but was unable to repeat in postseason. 

In Sunday's game, Simpson found itself down early in the game after La Sierra scored in the first five and a half minutes. However, the Red Hawks answered back five minutes later, with a goal by Diego Alvarez, assisted by Christhian Guevara. 

Simpson wasn't able to hold on to the momentum as La Sierra scored again toward the end of the first half, going up 2-1. 

That would be the final score as neither team was able to find the back of the net for the remained of the game.

SU ended its season with a final overall record of 7-4-5 and a conference record of 6-3-3.
