Simpson University Repeats as a Five-Star Champions of Character Institution

REDDING, Calif. - For the second year in a row, Simpson University has been recognized as a Five-Star Champions of Character Institution.

Simpson took home the highest honors by being named a "Gold"  level recipient, as it is ranked on three tiers: bronze, silver, and gold.

The Champions of Character award is an annual award given to institutions that have demonstrated commitment to Champions of Character and earn points in character training, conduct in competition, academic focus, character recognition and character promotion.

The Red Hawks followed up a "Gold" level finish for the second year in a row as they also took home the Cal Pac Sportsmanship award for the second consecutive year.

Along with being a five-star institution, Simpson sent six teams to the playoffs, four other programs competed in a conference tournament, and baseball, softball, and golf took home regular-season titles.
