REDDING, Calif. - Simpson Women's Volleyball completed the 2022 season on Saturday night by celebrating the seniors and sweeping PUC in three sets, 25-21, 26-24, 25-10.

The Red Hawks missed the Cal Pac tournament by just a few games and will have lots of returning players coming into next season.

Simpson celebrated its three seniors playing in their final collegiate games: Kendall Welpott, Shea Esp, and Maria Arredondo.

For the Red Hawks, Mallory Swenson finished with a dominant performance including 13 kills and 3.0 blocks. Welpott notched seven kills for SU as well and Kayla Somontan led the Red Hawks in assists with 21. Madison White added 13 as well.

Arredondo and Esp were defensive leaders for the Red Hawks recording 14 and eight digs respectively.

The Red Hawks will return many talented players heading into next year and will look to progress the roster heading into 2023.
