Prescott, Ariz. -  Simpson women's volleyball fell on the road to Embry-Riddle Thursday night, 3-0.

The Red Hawks, who remain in postseason contention began a tough 3-match road trip against ERAU by falling 25-16, 25-16, and 25-16. With four matches remaining and Simpson sitting two games out of the 6th and final playoffs spot, the Red Hawks need pick up some key wins down the stretch of the season.

TianaNihipali led the Red Hawks attack Thursday night with eight kills and Madelyn Frick added seven along with eight digs. Kayla Somontan notched a team-high 18 assists for SU while seven digs defensively.

Simpson continue the Arizona trip and will face Park-Gilbert and BenU Mesa before heading back to California to face UC Merced and then PUC in the regular season finale. All of those teams by PUC are above them currently in the standings.

The Red Hawks are back in action on Friday night against Park University with first serve at 7 PM.
