REDDING, Calif. - Simpson U baseball split a four-game series with La Sierra winning both games on day one.
Shane Ogata shined for the Red Hawks knocking four balls out of the park in 10 at bats, tallying nine RBIs for the weekend. Ogata also scored eight total runs for the weekend and finished the series with a slugging percentage of 1.800.
The bats were on display for both teams with high scoring games throughout the series with three games finishing in a one-run game.
Simpson improves to 4-6 in conference play with a few series remaining before playoffs gets underway in the beginning of May.
The Red Hawks will be back in action taking on Benedictine University in Mesa, Arizona with the series beginning on Friday, April 9th at 11 am.
