REDDING, Calif. - Simpson women's soccer recorded a shutout on Saturday taking down Providence Christian 2-0.
Carolina Oropeza broke the tie in the 26th minute with a goal that was assisted by
Emma Nichols to give SU a 1-0 lead.
It wasn't until the second half that the Red Hawks would score again in the 59th minute as
Alexis Arnold finished of an assist from
Lily James that put the nail in the coffin.
SU continues its impressive season remaining at 3-1-1 in conference play. The Red Hawks will be back in action on Wednesday at home to face UC Merced for a 4 PM kickoff.
