REDDING, Calif. - Simpson women's basketball began its season this past weekend as the Red Hawks dominated Northwest Indian College, 87-24.

Eleven different Simpson players got on the score sheet led by
Sandra Berrocal who finished with 16 points and four rebounds. Nisha King was close behind tallying 15 points and seven rebounds.
SU held NWIC to less than 10 points in each quarter and held them to a 23 percent shooting clip from the field.
The next night the Red Hawks fell to Eastern Oregon, 88-62.
Simpson's season continues on Saturday, October 30th at 11 AM in the Grant Center as the Red Hawks face the College of Idaho Yotes.
