REDDING, Calif. – The Red Hawks were unable to secure their second conference win against Benedictine Saturday night at home. SU made things interesting at the end of the fourth but were unable to keep things close to pull out a victory, falling to Ben. U 72-64.
Brianna Clark proved how much can heart can be packed in a 5'3" frame as the PG came off the bench to add 17 points, good for a career scoring high.
Alex Cooper also added double-digit scoring off the Red Hawk bench adding 10 points and six rebounds before fouling out of the contest in the 4
th.
Senior 
Whitney Armstrong added nine points, three rebounds, and three steals in the loss.
The Red Hawks have just one home game remaining on the schedule on Saturday against the PUC Pioneers. The Red Hawks will travel for their next action on Thursday night however, taking on the Bobcats of UC Merced in their home gym. Simpson will look to advance to 4-7 on Thursday and avenge a loss at home to UC Merced earlier this season.
