ANGWIN, Calif. - The Simpson University men's soccer team dominated Pacific Union on Thursday afternoon, winning with a final score of 6-0.
In just the first half alone, the Red Hawks attempted 15 shots, getting three shots by the PUC goalkeeper.
The second half was more of the same for SU, never allowing PUC to find the back of the net and continuing to get chances at goal.
Junior, Joel Sterling recorded a hat trick, getting three of Simpson's six goals. Sterling now leads the Red Hawks in goals this season with nine. Freshman, Chase Sherman was in the net for SU, recording two saves and the clean sheet.
Simpson is scheduled to play Sierra Nevada College at 1 PM on November 9th and will continue to look for a time to makeup the earlier postponed match with Cal Maritime.
