Men's Soccer Drops Close Match to the Pioneers

LANCASTER, Calif. - Simpson men's soccer fell in a close match to UAV on the road on Thursday night, 1-0.

The Red Hawks allowed an early goal in the 19th minute and weren't able to score the equalizer despite recording seven shots, four of which that were on goal. SU goalkeeper, Liam Bates, tallied five saves in the fixture, but didn't receive much help from the Simpson offensive attack.

Simpson will play game two of its three game road trip against Providence Christian College with kickoff set for 1 PM in Pasadena, Calif.
