REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University women's soccer fell at home Sunday afternoon, 1-0 to La Sierra.

After the Golden Eagles were constantly applying pressure, the Red Hawks were able ot hold them scoreless until the 89th minute when Nadia Cordova was able to find the net after their 29 previous shots were unsuccessful. Goalkeeper, Yazmin Estrada, had a monster goal in between the sticks, tallying 10 saves on the match for SU.

The Red Hawks did have their chances as well with six shots total and two on goal, but were never able to get on the board.

Simpson's next match will be on the road as the Red and Black will head to Merced to take on the Bobcats on Saturday, October 26th at 1 PM.
