LANCASTER, Calif. - Simpson University women's volleyball lost on the road Thursday night to the University of Antelope Valley Pioneers, 25-23, 25-18, 25-22.
The Red Hawks narrowly dropped each set and even had opportunities to take the lead late in the first and third sets. UAV's Tiari Hookano dominated the Pioneers attack tallying a game-high 16 kills for the three set match.Â

Ashley Collins and
Lily Johnson were in double figures with 12 kills a piece on the night.
Madison Stouder led the game in assists with 25 while Antelope Valley's two setters each had over ten.
Antelope Valley notched 13 aces for the match to Simpson's two as the Red Hawks serve-receive was not in top form.
The Red Hawks will take on Providence Christian on Friday, October 18th in a rematch that Simpson won earlier in the season three sets to one.
