TORRANCE, Calif. - Simpson women's soccer fell on the road Saturday afternoon to Marymount California University, 6-1.

After a solid first half from the Mariners, Simpson bolstered its defense in the second half only allowing two goals. The Red Hawks lone goal was off a beautiful free kick off the foot of Ana Sofia de Pablos from 25 yards out. The free kick goal was SU's first of the season and de Pablos's second strike for goal this season.

SU's goalie, Yazmin Estrada finished the match with nine saves in the Marymount win.

The Red Hawks will play host to their next two fixtures as they will face Soka University on October 18th and La Sierra on October 20th.
