REDDING, Calif. - Simpson softball fell in both contests today 6-2 to Notre Dame de Namur and 15-5 to Oregon Tech.
The Red Hawks recorded eleven hits in game one, but also struck out eleven times leaving nine runners on base. In game two, Simpson continued to struggle to get key hits tallying 16 hits, but only scored 5 runs leaving 13 runners on base.
Mazzie Davies went 4 for 4 including two RBIs and
Kayla Bailey finished 3 for 4 with an RBI.
The Red Hawks will continue to play host to the Simpson Triangular as they will face Menlo College and Southern Oregon on February 17th.
