RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Back to back goals for Simpson in the 33rd and 39th minute gave the Red Hawks the edge that gave them the win and kept their playoff hopes alive.

Taylor Sherman and Jimmy Tristan were two Simpson players to record the goals. An early second half goal for La Sierra was not enough to overcome the 2-0 deficit.

Despite being outshot for the contest, the Red Hawks battled to continue their quest for a playoff spot.
