Simpson Falls to UC Merced

REDDING, Calif. - Simpson men's soccer falls to UC Merced 7-2 on their first game back after a long road trip.
 
Striker Lucas Dias scored both of the Red Hawk goals. Dias' first goal came off a penalty kick in the first half to tie the game at one a piece. His second also coming off a penalty kick brought the score 4-2. Dias now has 4 goals on the season. Simpson finished with one other shot on target while Nijel Buchanan totaled 12 saves in today's game.
 
Simpson faces off against Antelope Valley on Thursday October 18th at 3pm before hitting the road.
