REDDING, Calif. -- Madison Cox finished the night just a rebound short of a double-double with 9 rebounds to go along with her season high 18 points but it wasn't enough as Simpson fell 80-72 to Benedictine. The Red Hawks finished with two other scorers in double figures as Shayla Smothers addded 17 points and 7 rebounds and Fallon Greenhaw contributed 12 points on 4 of 6 shooting. 

Simpson's bench came to play tonight scoring 33 of the team's 72 points. Simpson also out rebounded Benedictine 35-24 pulling down 17 offensive boards but the Red Hawks struggled from the charity stripe, shooting just 56 percent from line.
