REDDING, Calif. -- Simpson took on the Pioneers from University of Antelope Valley falling in straight sets, 12-25, 18-25, 13-25.

The Red Hawks offensive woes continued as just four players finished with kills on the night. Ashley Job led the way tallying 6 kills on 27 attempts, Nicole Morse and Jessilyn Ellenson both finished with 3, and Sara Salmon tallied 2. Simpson relied on two setters for most of the night as Salmon and Madison Stouder totaled 6 assists a piece. 

Shea O'Brien and Allison Fuata powered the Pioneers offense both finishing with 9 kills while Kacee Shaffer ended the night with 30 assists.

Simpson falls to 0-5 in conference play and look to regain momentum as they take on UC Merced Saturday night at 7 pm in the Grant Center.
