REDDING, Calif. -- The Red Hawks hosted La Sierra for their first conference game of the season and fell to the Golden Eagles in straight sets, 25-16, 25-14. 25-23.
Simpson's offensive woes continued as they tallied 19 kills but were plagued by hitting errors across the board as the team finished with 20. The Red Hawks' offense was led by
Ashley Job who totaled 7 kills on 25 attempts and
Mariah Chavez who finished with 5 kills on 29 attempts. Both
Madison Stouder and
Sara Salmon tallied 8 assists each for Simpson and
Cameron Wallace tallied 8 blocks.
The Red Hawks look to bounce back as they take on visiting Providence Christian Saturday night at 7 pm.
