The Red Hawks first took on West Coast Baptist College on Friday and defeated the Eagles in three straight sets. Later that evening the Red Hawks battled with the University of Rio Grande. Simpson won sets 1 and 3 while Rio Grande won set 2 and 4 but in the fifth set the Red Hawks pulled away with the victory by a score of 15-9. Simpson's faced off against Mills College in its final game of the weekend and took down the Cyclones 25-13, 25-12, 25-10.

The Red Hawks won three straight games for the first time since 2015. Simpson looks to continue its winning streak as they travel to Chico and take on the Wildcats Tuesday at 7 pm.
