The Red Hawks finish with a season-high 15 runs despite only playing 7 innings. Simpson sent ace,
Cody Coggins to the mound who threw a gem, only allowing a run on four hits in 6 innings. Â The three Sea Beggars' pitchers walked a combined 11 batters while also allowing 14 hits.
The Red Hawks bats were awoken early putting up a 3 spot in the first inning and were consistently a threat offensively scoring in every inning except the 2nd and the 5th. Â
Aaron Curfman and
Wilson Kessel each had three-hit games propelling the Simpson offensive attack. Kessel drove in a career-high five runs for the Red Hawks.
