REDDING, Calif. - Simpson men's basketball picks up its 5th win of the year against Pacific Union College, equaling last year's win total, with a 104-85 victory.
The Red Hawks scored over 100 points for the first time since November 1st, 2014. Five Red Hawks were in double figures led by
Josh Brakkee who stuffed the stat sheet with 22 points, eight rebounds, and five assists.
Jalen DuPree finished a career-high eight assists to go along with 14 points.
Aaron Berry tallied 21 points and seven boards. Off the bench,
Brandon Moss and Jalen Cooper combined for 29 points.
As a team Simpson shot 61 percent from the floor and recorded 23 assists the most since February 5th, 2015.Â
This win marks the first conference win for
Todd Franklin as the Red Hawks improve to 5-6 on the year and 1-0 conference play.
Simpson will matchup with Chico State on Dec. 19th at 7:30 pm in Chico, Calif.
