REDDING, Calif. -- Although the Red Hawks led at the end of the first, they were unable to hold off the Owls in the second, falling 84-71. THe first half margin was, in major part, due to great defense from the Red Hawks including monster blocks by
Aaron Berry and
Brandon Moss.
Jalen DuPree led the Red Hawk offense with 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists and Berry added 16 points of his own.
In their second meeting of the season, Mitchell Fink continued to bother Simpson posting 30 points on the night, with 25 coming in the second half. The Owls only had three players in double figures but it was too much for the Red Hawks.
