REDDING, Calif. - After an 0-2 start to the season, nothing would stop in the way of the Red Hawks recording their first win of the year, topping Northwest Indian College 76-34.
Simpson jumped out to 25-11 lead in the first quarter and continued to build the lead throughout. Alyson Rippingham scored a career-high 17 points to go along with 8 rebounds. Alex Cooper recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Greenhaw tallied 10 points.
Simpson drilled a season-high 10 threes on 32 attempts and grabbed 70 rebounds on the night.
The Red Hawks attempt to get to .500 tomorrow night at 5:00 pm against University of Saint Katherine in the Grant Center.
