ANGWIN, Calif. - On the final match of the year, the Red Hawks pulled off a five set victory over Pacific Union, 15-25, 25-22, 25-21, 14-25, 15-10.

After falling behind and dropping the first set, Simpson recovered quickly in the 2nd and 3rd set getting narrow set wins. In the deciding fifth set, the Red Hawks finished the match on an 8-3 run.

Simpson played its most effective defensive game of the year tonight with a season-high 91 digs. Libero, Marianne Soria, might have earned herself a Defender of the Week award in the Cal Pac with a career-high 27 digs.  On the attacking side, Cameron Wallace led the Red Hawks with a career-high 13 kills. Nicole Morse added 12 kills from the outside. Sara Salmon added 38 assists on the evening. 

This is the first career win for Head Coach, Andi Rodrigues, who took over mid-season and first conference win for Simpson this season.

The Red Hawks finish off the season on a high note picking up their 7th win on the season.
