REDDING, Calif. -- Simpson out shot visiting SOKA but was unable to capitalize falling 2-0. 

Simpson tallied 13 shots as a team while SOKA managed just eleven but were able to connect once in each half. Solomon Dutton led Simpson with three shots while Cody Beaumont and Tayler Sherman each had 2 while Jaroslav Zapletal and Julian Nazar each scored for the Lions.

The Red Hawks fall to 1-7 in the conference and travel to Pacific Union to take on the Pioneers next Thursday at 4pm.
