REDDING, Calif. - The Simpson Red Hawks men's soccer team failed to get on the board in a 2-0 shutout against Northwest Christian University.

Simpson shot 15 times, three of which were on frame, but were unable to get one by NCU's goalkeeping.

Simpson's Solomon Dutton left in the first half after receive an elbow to the temple and did not return.

Red Hawk goalkeeper, Michael Jones, had 16 saves in the contest.

Simpson falls to 0-5 on the young season and awaits a meeting with Warner Pacific College on September 11th at 11 am on the Simpson Soccer Field.
