REDDING, Calif. - Simpson Red Hawk women's soccer falls to Antelope Valley 3-0 in the Cal Pac opener.

The Pioneers scored three goals on 14 shots on goal. Lucy Martinez scored first with a goal in the 2nd minute. Nayeli Moreno scored twice for UAV in the 65th and the 87th minute.

Simpson had three shots on goal, two of them coming from forward, Brooky Gaddy. Goalkeeper, Chelsea White, finished with 11 saves on the day.

The Red Hawks now fall to 0-6-1 and 0-1 in conference. UAV improves to 5-3 overall and 1-0 in conference.

Simpson plays next against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University on October 1st on the road at 7 p.m.
