REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University falls to Southern Oregon University, 87-76.

Simpson came back in the second half after being down 20 and cut it to three, but not could not regain the lead.

The Red Hawks had a plus four advantage on the glass and were relentless bringing down 10 offensive rebounds.

Joseph Bosetti had a game-high 24 points to go along with seven rebounds.  Alex Huerta finished with 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 4 assists.

For Southern Oregon, Ben DeSaulnier and Tristen Holmes combined for 41 points shooting at a prolific 62 percent from the floor. Holmes went to the line 12 times knocking down 10.

The Red Hawks fall to 1-3 on the season and will head to Atherton, Calif. to face Menlo College on November 8th at 7 pm.
