LA GRANDE, Ore. - Simpson Red Hawks men's basketball team loses its second consecutive game in as many days to Eastern Oregon University, 83-73.

The first half for the Red Hawks was a forgetful one, as Simpson trailed at the half, 52-29.  For the second straight game, Jim Holcomb elected to let his bench produce the majority of the minutes.

Simpson was outrebounded by 12 by the Mountaineers and allowed 20 fast break points. Ruben Nwando was the main contributor for Simpson, as he finished with 15 points in 20 minutes.

The Red Hawks now slip to 1-5 on the season and will head home for a matchup with rival, William Jessup University, on November 15th at 7:30 pm in the James M. Grant Center.
