REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University loses its 4th consecutive match tonight against UC Merced in three sets, 25-19, 32-30, 25-19.
Simpson now falls to 1-11 in the Cal Pac and 5-19 on the campaign.
Merced finished with a team total of 44 kills and eight blocks. Â Leading the way was Dominique Andrews who finished with 13 kills followed by Jade Fachin who ended up with 11.
For the Red Hawks,
Ashley Cervantes had a game-high 14 kills and
Miranda Cook hit her way to a seven kill evening. Â
Kelsey Reibsamen and
Lydia Harrison split the duty of setter and combined for 28 assists on the night.
Simpson has less than 24 hours before a matchup with Antelope Valley on October 29th at 1 pm in James M. Grant Center.
