Hall of Fame
The 2001-2002 women's basketball team is being honored for winning Simpson College's first-ever women's basketball national championship. This team won the 2002 NCCAA DII National title in Oklahoma City, OK. They were ranked No. 1 in this tournament.
The players from the 2001-2002 team include Buffie Maze, Vannytha Keo, Rachel Slatton, Angela Ritter, Shandra Guthrie, Rachel Pippin, Kristen List, Heidi Brookshire, Angela Johnson, Hillary Lambert, and Katie Soll.
The coaches from the 2001-2002 team include head coach Jim Hall, assistant coaches Talara Burns and Derrick Flecks, and manager Sarah Davidson.
