Biography

2025: Alcala appeared in 36 games with four starts.  He slashed .292 BA/.455 OB%/.333 SLG%/.788 OPS while notching seven hits and one RBI.  Alcala posted a .933 FLD% to go along with 14 putouts.  In conference play, he posted a .333 BA/.667 OB%/.333 SLG%/1.000 OPS slash line.  Throughout the season, Alcala displayed his speed on the bases as he swiped 15 bags on the year, 11 of those coming during conference play.  For his efforts in conference, he was named the Cal Pac Freshman of the Year.

2024: Alcala appeared in 19 games with five starts. He picked up his first collegiate hit on a single against Chico State (2/13/24) as he slashed .200 BA/.267 SLG%/.294 OB%/.561 OPS while swiping seven bases.
