Ramirez hauls in two TD's, falls to Arizona Christian to end the 2024 season

REDDING, Calif. - The Red Hawks played its final game of the 2024 season as they traveled to Glendale, AZ to take on Arizona Christian this afternoon.

Simpson came out firing as they found the endzone and marched 75 yards on six plays on its opening drive.

Quarterback Kaleb Anderson completed his first pass of the day to wideout Nathaniel Monticelli for 17 yards to erase a second and long to make it a third and short.

The Red Hawks picked up a huge fourth down conversion to keep the drive alive on a two-yard rush by Ezekiel Anderson

Two plays later, Anderson connected with Monticelli for a 57-yard catch-and-run to the house to take the early 7-0 lead.

But the firestorm answered back as they found the endzone on an 11-play 69-yard drive.

Simpson scored before the half as they drove 52 yards on four plays to cut the Firestorm lead in half.

A roughing the kicker reignited the Red Hawk's drive as Anderson connected with tight end Trevor Thomas for a 22-yard reception.

Anderson connected with Ramirez for the second time on a 14-yard touchdown reception.

The Firestorm scored on its final possession before the half to extend its 35-14 lead.

The Simpson defense stalled a Firestorm drive in the red zone as linebackers Kasey Mena and Jeremeiah Prinz combined for a huge tackle for loss for a turnover on downs.

Running back Mikah Kindell busted out a 33-yard touchdown run as the third quarter winded down.

Simpson's offense continued to stay hot as they put together another solid drive that found the endzone on a four-play 43-yard drive.

An electric 33-yard reception by LeBron Thomas along the sideline set up a 3-yard touchdown scamper by Kaleb Anderson

But the Firestorm took the final game of the season on its senior day 71-27.

The Simpson offense had its best game of the year as they put up a season-high 27 points on 425 yards of total offense.
