REDDING, Calif. - Simpson University Cheerleading is gearing up for its first season with three tryout clinics for prospective Red Hawk Cheerleaders.

The first clinic will be held on April 7th from 7 PM to 9:30 PM in front of the James M. Grant Center. The following clinics are on April 14th and 21st from 7 PM to 9:30 PM inside the James M. Grant Center.

These clinics will be used to teach cheer techniques, conditioning exercises and flexibility training. There will be no stunting or tumbling. 

There will also be a team lunch on April 7th at 12:30 PM in the Simpson Caf.

Prospective Cheerleaders will be able to ask Head Coach Erica Gismegian questions and learn about the program.
