Women's Basketball falls to Chico State 78-62

CHICO,Calif - The Simpson University women's basketball team dropped their non-conference match-up between NCAA II Chico State, 78-62 in Chico.

The Red Hawks had three players reach double figures. Esther Wofford led all scorers with 28 points, eight rebounds and three assist. Fallon Greenhaw followed with 15 points and Kelsie Jurin scored 10 points and grabbed five rebounds.

Simpson returns to action Jan. 30 for the second half of Cal Pac play against Pacific Union College. The Red Hawks defeated the Pioneers on Jan.21, 76-61. Tip-off is set for 6:30 pm in Angwin, CA.
