College: Hernandez is entering his first season wrestling for the Red Hawks. He transferred to Simpson from Fresno City College prior to the 2015-2016 season.

High School: Hernandez competed in one year of varsity wrestling at Clovis High School.

Personal: Vicente is the son of Juan and Virginia Hernandez. His hobbies include dirt biking, fishing, hunting, cooking, and rock climbing. His career goal is to become an aeronautical engineer.

Reason for coming to SU: “I came to Simpson for the wrestling program.”
