Biography

College: Medina is entering his second season wrestling for the Red Hawks. He qualifed for NAIA Nationals as a freshman.

High School: Medina competed in two years of varsity wrestling at Jesuit High School, where he also played volleyball. He was Jesuit’s first-ever state medalist, and his favorite moment was when he won his top 12 match to become a state medalist.

Personal: Erik is the son of James and Laura Medina. His hobbies include reading, volleyball, sports, and video games. His career goal is to become a youth pastor.

Reason for coming to Simpson: "I chose Simpson because it gives me a chance to complete two dreams at once, to become a youth pastor and continue my wrestling career."
